This exciting and fun experience will provide a safe and enriching place for Middle School students to be before or after school, during school closures and during the Summer. The program activities are student-driven and may include the following: video games, cooking projects, air hockey, pool, Foosball, sports, fine arts, service learning projects, homework time and more. Using a team teaching approach, Early Learning Academy blends both Integrated and Signature Preschool into one cohesive program serving students with disabilities as well as their typical peer counterparts. The Kyrene Intramural program is designed to teach and model positive sportsmanship, which empowers each player to play fairly. Our goal is to encourage and introduce competitive play without losing sight of respecting each other or having fun. The Kyrene Elementary Intramural Program is….. Coached by a staff member from your child's school Designed to introduce kinder-5th-grade students to sports fundamentals and intramural play Practices are held twice per week for six weeks for 3-5 grade students and once a week for K-2nd-grade students Culminating Saturday event/tournament where students will experience the excitement of play Financial Assistance available. All enrichment classes are taught by qualified, experienced professionals in the after school environment. Select enrichment classes are taught by certified Kyrene teachers. Our goal is to offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities in areas including: Academic Assistance, Art, Chess, Critical Thinking, Dance, Etiquette, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Music and Drama, Health and Wellness, Science, and a variety of teacher taught classes.

Preschool Program Information and Tuition The Kyrene Integrated Preschool Program offers an exciting first learning experience for both children who are typically developing, as well as children who are experiencing delays in their development. Kyrene's developmentally appropriate, peer-based curriculum is aligned with the Arizona Early Learning Standards, and emphasizes early literacy, math and communication. The goal is for children to learn to interact with others in appropriate ways; improve motor and self-help skills; encourage creativity and a love of learning.

Kyrene offers both “cut” and “non-cut” sports for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Cut sports include: soccer, basketball, volleyball, cheer, softball, and baseball. The non-cut athletic opportunities include cross country, wrestling, and track and field. Each year, over 3,000 middle school students from the Tempe, Chandler, and Phoenix area participate in the Kyrene Athletic Program. This Program provides a positive, high quality after-school sports program that emphasizes participation, teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship. Kyrene Athletics Program Information

Based on student interest, each school may offer intramural teams in volleyball, flag football, and basketball. These teams will practice 2 times per week and eventually scrimmage against other schools once a week. Scrimmages will typically be played on Wednesdays. The purpose is to develop student skill, experience team unity, provide opportunities in which to compete; ultimately preparing them for Kyrene Athletics along with high school. Intramurals is separate from Kyrene Athletics as it does not include guaranteed spots for participants who have been cut from Athletics. Additionally, no sports physicals are required to register for an Intramural class.
