Using a team teaching approach, Early Learning Academy blends both Integrated and Signature Preschool into one cohesive program serving students with disabilities as well as their typical peer counterparts. All enrichment classes are taught by qualified, experienced professionals in the after school environment. Select enrichment classes are taught by certified Kyrene teachers. The Kyrene Intramural program is designed to teach and model positive sportsmanship which empowers each player to play fairly. Our goal is to encourage competitive play without losing sight of respecting each other or having fun.

All of our programs are on school campuses, so the transition from the school day to after school is consistent and convenient. Preschool Program Information and Tuition The Kyrene Integrated Preschool Program offers an exciting first learning experience for both children who are typically developing, as well as children who are experiencing delays in their development. Kyrene's developmentally appropriate, peer-based curriculum is aligned with the Arizona Early Learning Standards, and emphasizes early literacy, math and communication. The goal is for children to learn to interact with others in appropriate ways; improve motor and self-help skills; encourage creativity and a love of learning.

Kyrene offers both “cut” and “non-cut” sports for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Cut sports include: soccer, basketball, volleyball, cheer, softball, and baseball. The non-cut athletic opportunities include cross country, wrestling, and track and field. Each year, over 3,000 middle school students from the Tempe, Chandler, and Phoenix area participate in the Kyrene Athletic Program. Spring Break Grades 4-8 This exciting camp is for young athletes who want to stay active, learn new skills and practice good sportsmanship while being part of a team. Summer Academy is designed to provide enrichment opportunities through diversified curriculum that meet the interests of a wide range of students. Most classes are one week long to allow learners to explore a variety of topics. Students can select classes from 8am - 10am and/or 10am - 12pm, or 8am - 12pm. All grades ranges are for the 2025-2026 school year. Students entering Kindergarten are only eligible to attend the Getting Ready for Kindergarten class. Kids Club is available for students in grades 1 - 8 attending Academy from 8am - 12pm and is only open from 7am - 8am and 12pm - 6pm.
