The Coach’s Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the team by assisting coaches and athletes with various administrative and logistical tasks. This position is ideal for a dedicated and organized student who wishes to contribute to the team's success. The Coach’s Assistant takes guidance from the head coaches to support the team and coaching staff. While key responsibilities are listed below, additional tasks may arise as the season progresses. Key Responsibilities: Attendance Management: Take daily attendance and report any absences to the coach. Take attendance on the bus when the team travels to competitions. Competition Day Support: Distribute and collect anything needed for the competitions. Assist team with any drills for competitions. Equipment Management: Help set up and break down equipment for practices and competitions, as required. Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Communication Assistance: Assist in relaying important messages from coaches to team members. Data Entry and Analysis: Help enter and analyze performance data from practices and competitions, as requested. Assist coaches in creating reports and presentations based on this data. Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well with others and support a team environment. Basic proficiency in using Google Sheets and other relevant software. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed. Working Conditions: This role involves attending all practices and competitions. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
