Middle School IntramuralsBased on student interest, each school may offer intramural teams in volleyball, flag football, and basketball. These teams will practice 2 times per week and eventually scrimmage against other schools once a week. Scrimmages will typically be played on Wednesdays. The purpose is to develop student skill, experience team unity, provide opportunities in which to compete; ultimately preparing them for Kyrene Athletics along with high school. Intramurals is separate from Kyrene Athletics as it does not include guaranteed spots for participants who have been cut from Athletics. Additionally, no sports physicals are required to register for an Intramural class.Category -
