Players will enjoy sports and see them as a part of a lifelong way of staying active. Players will increase their sense of belonging and self confidence. This class will take place outdoors. B.O.L.T.S. (Building Our Leaders Through Science)
B.O.L.T.S. is a hands on S.T.E.A.M. program where students will participate in extreme science and engineering activities including constructing gliders, engineering your own race car, rubber band rockets, engineering marshmallow teamwork towers and more! -
Bonanza Educational: Gizmos and Gadgets
Teach your LEGO bricks cool new tricks in the LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets after-school club! Use the LEGO we provide along with some extra supplies like marbles, balloons, rubber bands, and more to make exciting projects that are guaranteed to do something cool. Projects will “sail”, “take off”, “fly”, “catapult”, and “race”! In every class we will build a functioning model while we learn the STEM skills behind how they work and practice problem solving, teamwork, and communication. Leave your LEGO at home; we’ll supply everything you need. No take-home projects. -
Bricks 4 Kidz: Space
Many children dream of being an astronaut and traveling to space, so Bricks 4 Kidz® created an entire unit around space! Each week, students will learn about real-life space exploration and build a new model related to the NASA space program. Models include a satellite, a centrifuge which astronauts use to prepare for the physical sensations of launch, a treadmill which astronauts use to stay fit in space, and a “space robot”. During this unit, students will learn some of the science behind launching things into orbit and discuss what it is like to be an astronaut in space. Are you a budding astronaut? Students will plant their own seeds and help in soil prep, planting, and harvesting in our school garden while also helping to maintain our garden xeriscape. KidStage presents: Harriet Patter & the Broom Closet of Wonder
What is KidStage? KidStage is a theatre and acting class for kids! The curriculum includes concentration, teamwork, improvisation, movement, voice and basic theatre terminology. At the end of the class, KidStage kids will perform for peers and parents. All classes are taught by trained instructors, whose goal it is to teach your child about the excitement of theatre, improve your child’s self-confidence, and to provide a safe, fun and interesting environment. KidStage will strengthen your child’s confidence as well as build teamwork, leadership, reading, and vocabulary skills! Join us this semester for Harriet Patter & the Broom Closet of Wonder! In the second installment of this beloved series, all our favorite characters are back at Pigwarts for more adventure, more magic and more hilarious parody! Someone is making mischief at school and once again Harriet finds herself at the center of it all. With the help of her best friends Don and Hermonica, Harriet must solve the mystery of the legendary Broom Closet of Wonder before it's too late! Join in this wonderful adventure where friendship proves to be the greatest magic of all! Performances will be held on the final day of class at 6:30pm in your school's MPR (unless otherwise noted)! -

In this fun class, you’ll learn all about 3D printing, how it works, and learn the software skills you’ll need to create your own unique designs! Take home several mini-prints and do a large “final print” project! Nerds love to repeat this class, so we are always updating the projects! PLEASE NOTE: There are two sessions per day at Cielo, Lagos, Mirada, Norte, and Sierra. Please be sure to double check you've selected the correct class time! Cerritos students are eligible to register for the classes at Sierra due to the temporary shared campus. -
